health as it is for yours. The Clinical Nutrition Service at GVS enhances your
pet’s prognosis by improving the animal’s wellness diet, designing nutritional programs
for specific disease conditions, shortening hospitalization and speeding
recovery from surgery and illness. If
your pet is hospitalized, the attending doctor may consult with our veterinary
nutritionist. You may also make an appointment with Dr. Wynn directly any time
you need nutritional counseling. By developing feeding plans customized for
individual needs, our nutritionist Dr. Susan Wynn plays a vital role in
supporting your pet’s recovery.

Susan Wynn, DVM
Dr. Wynn is a graduate of the University
of Georgia’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a
clinical internship in Washington,
D.C., and a fellowship in viral
immunology at the Emory University School of Medicine. After 20 years of clinical practice, she now
serves as a clinical resident with the University
of Tennessee’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Wynn also writes, teaches and speaks on
the subject of clinical nutrition.
