Veterinary Technician/Assistant positions open for the following specialties: Job #17: Internal Medicine: Weekends with Internal Medicine Veterinarian plus three days in the ICU for the balance of the week. Work up of patients, assisting the vet, strong radiology skills. Catheter insertion. FT status. ICU hours to be scheduled regularly through ICU Manager. Job #19: Radiology: Conduct all radiography procedures plus ultrasound. Candidate must have comfort level with anesthesia, positioning techniques and overall basic tech skills. FT Status. Job #20: Neurology: Previous experience in neurology. The tech/asst. will work directly with neurologist during appointments, make follow up calls to clients regarding pet's status or after discharge. All diagnostic procedures including radiology, lab, etc. Must have high comfort level with anesthesia. Will rotate on-call with Surgery department. FT Status. 4-10 hour days/week. Job #21: Floater: Technician or experienced vet assistant needed to provide assistance to the specialty services i.e. IM, Oncology, Cardiology, Radiation Therapy etc as a floater. Must be able to multi-task during the day as different needs arise. Flexibility is a must as the role is to support the technicians or assistants who are specifically assigned to specialist. The candidate must be willing to "fill in" when the needs surface. FT Status. All FT positions are eligible for medical benefits after the 90 Day Introductory period.
